My apologies, I should've thought about this a while longer before posting
harsh words.

I also found another problem with this patch -- the alignment shouldn't be to
5.

The current code (now after the revert), doesn't handle all legal radiotap
headers. Anything that has an extension bit set in the bitmap is simply not
parsed correctly. However, it is impossible to provide examples for all legal
radiotap headers.

The standardised version of the vendor namespace can be found at
http://www.radiotap.org/defined-fields/Vendor%20Namespace

Let's discuss further in bug 4421.
