Error while opening HTML version of QADefect sample

After building and deploying apache-wink-1.1-incubating\examples\apps\QADefect into \
Apache Geronimo v2.2 server, when I access \
http://localhost:8080/QADefect/rest/defects?alt=text/html from either Firefox or \
Internet Explorer, I hit the following error:

XML Parsing Error: not well-formed
Location: http://localhost:8080/QADefect/rest/defects?alt=text%2Fhtml
Line Number 150, Column 25:

However the Atom xml version of the above page \
(http://localhost:8080/QADefect/rest/defects?alt=application/atom+xml) works as \
expected.
