I looked up the CVS setup on WineHQ and I noticed
that the file CVSROOT/loginfo contains the line:

^wine /usr/bin/perl $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/log_accum -m wine-cvs@winehq.com -f
$CVSROOT/CVSROOT/winecommitlog -s %s

which means (I hope) that all log messages that are
emailed to wine-cvs are also written to the file
winecommitlog. Unfortunately, cvsweb does not
list that file. Does anyone know why and how can I
get access to it?
