Since this is a general Tor question: I'd advice to remove the Whonix
specific part from your question and then ask in a place specialized for
Tor support questions.
Having created a Linux distribution that integrates Tor, doesn't make me
an expert of Tor.

Also this list isn't used much for user support. Not many community
members active here. We mostly use it when we reach out to projects /
individuals reachable by e-mail (lists) as CC so everyone can follow /
