Occasionally when wget loses a download and retries the incoming file is corrupted.



I note in some cases that the already downloaded data is deleted (or maybe \
overwritten)[1] and new data is written with the HTTP header mixed in with the actual \
data. 



Is there a list of 'known bad servers' or is this a known issue?



It seems completely random (site-wise, time wise ...)



[1] I'm not 100% sure about this.  The reason I think this (overwrite or delete) \
happens is that the HTTP headers that overwrite the existing data have something like \
'skipping xxxx bytes', with xxxx corresponding to the block wget was retrying on.
