Hi
I had been using WEKA with image dataset and used it meaningfully to apply \
clustring/classification learning schemes. BUT now ...
I have a data set of ordered pairs representing positional information of object(s) \
in XY-plane. I am trying to extract spatial patterns from that data by preprocessing \
through clustring ( Add Cluster - filter)/.........
1. Is it logical to use weka clustring algos on a data set like
Time X Coord YCoord
0.1 556 234
0.2 456 264 ..............
or I must use any clustring algorithm like CLARANS or other spatail clustring algos.
2.If the data file is like
x1,y1, u1,v1
x2,y2,u2,v2 ...... ( i.e combining attributes of two objects in one data file to see \
interacting patterns/behaviours...)
can some one please suggest me.... whether clustring is logical to be applied and \
which algos may be suitable...
Thanking in anticipation
Kind regards
zia
