Hello, I am noticing that there are no support for a openvpn
      client.

Some functions that can possibly be implemented:
a list of VPN servers, and have some function that automatically
switches to a other server if the one connected to for some reason
goes down for a preset time period?

A nice prerequisite is that the physical Ethernet connection is
up and a site responds to pings. It can also be interesting if the
list of servers could be sorted based on their ping reply time.
All the servers uses the same certificates and TLS keys and
      username/password.
