That is hard to say. There used to be a Systems Librarian List but that di=
ed some years ago. The only list that I am a part of that is active focuses=
 on cataloging.

 archiving Web4Lib

Warning: This email originated from outside the City of Anaheim. Do not cli=
ck links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and are expect=
ing the message.

Web4Lib is hosted here at UC- I have no problem with keeping the archive ac=
cessible.

I do like having this list available to ask questions - it doesn't cost any=
thing, and I just move on from a message if it's not relevant to me, but I =
will differ to membership.

I would like to ask- what other communications channels, groups, or other t=
hings do you subscribe to to keep in touch with your library colleagues? Mo=
re and more our services are being outsourced to vendors and such, so I rea=
lize library focused list may not be useful... but I still like the idea of=
communicating and seeing what other libraries are doing!

I also vote for keeping an archive, as I still look for "how did you fix th=
is?" solutions for older systems.

I've learned so much from this list. Thank you, everyone.
