Brian,
I mainly use Members to create custom user roles but I also use it to lock =
down our entire staff intranet. You can limit globally across the site or =
limit each specific post / page to a specific role or group of roles.

Subject: [WEB4LIB] WordPress plugins for image gallery, access restrictions=
?
One of my member libraries has asked me for suggestions about WordPress mod=
ules to add a couple functions/features:
1. Image gallery. It looks like most sites use NextGEN Gallery. Is th=
ere another plugin the library should look at instead?
2. Login-restricted sections or pages that are viewable only by users=
in a specific group (e.g., Friends Group, Staff, Library Board). From my i=
nitial searching, the Members plugin or User Access Manager plugin seem pro=
mising. Would one of these two do the job better? Are there others worth co=
nsidering?
I haven't worked with WordPress much, so any guidance on these topics would=
be appreciated.
