Another alternative is Sign Up Genius. Though not open source, they do have a free \
level that has the features to do what you need, I believe.

Subject: Re: [WEB4LIB] Duty Roster

We use a Google calendar in that manner for our reference desk staffing. I created a \
calendar that was shared with all reference librarians. I put repeating slots on the \
calendar for individuals throughout the semester, but all librarians have permissions \
to edit the central calendar. The person staffing each shift is invited to the \
central calendar, so it appears on their personal calendar. It is dependent on them \
all using Google Calendar for their work calendar.

I am looking at automating our library staff duty roster to achieve the following.

1. Online roster/calendar available for anyone to view

2. Reminders for those on duty at specified times

3. Allow staff members to swap slots

Is there an open source app out there that can help me achieve this?
