Jon Udell's LibraryLookup bookmarklet <
http://weblog.infoworld.com/udell/stories/2002/12/11/librarylookup.html> 
is a cool OPAC hack that pushes the catalog into arbitrary web spaces. Jon 
and others have done variations on the bookmarklet and used greasemonkey 
to increase the visibility of library holdings, but LibraryLookup was one 
of the first tools to take this approach. Ross Singer and I are doing some 
work with mirroring a Voyager catalog with a subject breakdown and webdav 
access, this sets it up for use with tools like Google Desktop and custom 
indexing.  There's been some interesting hacks with swapping maps for 
custom images in Google Maps, I would love to see someone use dynamic 
images of library data with this interface.
