Obviously, rendering mistakes for markup missing required tags cannot be 
blamed on the browser.  The entire notion of a correct rendering is off the 
table when you have invalid markup.

I was just responding to the earlier "Why do we always blame Netscape?" 
comment: as important as valid markup is, sometimes it really is Netscape's 
fault.
