I have a basic Contivity (Nortel 600) to Concentrator (Cisco 3000
concentrator) setup in lab environment, with a local and a remote PC
terminal. I am able to create an IPsec (no GRE) test tunnel from the
Nortel VPN device to the Cisco box. Both Cisco and Nortel event logs are
telling me that phase 1 and phase 2 are complete as well as all other SA
authentications. However once the test is done the tunnel is
immediately "destroyed" and doesn't stay up for the designated sa
lifetime... Is that to be expected from a test tunnel?
Also I can't ping my remote terminal from my local terminal... The only
two devices standing between these two terminals are the Cisco and Nortel
device.
My groups and IPsec authentication configs match on both devices. Please
help!!
