I have a compile question. I don't have another debian box, so I have
to use my soekris box to compile some kernel modules (I did an apt-get
installed gcc and libc6-dev). I am using an NFS mount to store the
kernel source. I got the kernel source from:
http://www.voyage.hk/dists/unstable/kernel/kernel-source-2.6.15-voyage_2.0-8_all.deb

then got
http://www.voyage.hk/download/kernel_config/config-2.6.15-486-voyage_2.0-8
and copied it to .config and ran make oldconfig
 (thanks Tom)

I then symlinked:
/lib/modules/2.6.15-486-voyage/build to /mnt/NFS/kernel-source-2.6.15-voyage
/usr/src/kernel-source-2.6.15-voyage to
/mnt/NFS/kernel-source-2.6.15-voyage

Inside of the kernel source directory I symlinked include/asm to
include/asm-i386 (I am guessing this is part of my problem)

From then my module compiled fine. (The zd1211 module for usb wireless
cards). When I do a modprobe on the module I get:
 Invalid module format

google seems to tell me that I may be pointing to the wrong kernel
source or architecture.

Any ideas on what I may have set up wrong?

thanks
chad
