hi

please would someone explain me that, thanks

vnc (enterprise edition, newest edition) works on my w2k-server.

in eventvwr.exe (windows_loggings) I've read THIS:

all same clock! same date!
socketmanager: unknown listener event: 0
connections: closed 81.xxx.xxx.xxx.:14444 (write: connection reset by peer (10054))
connections: accepted 81.xxx.xxx.xxx.14444
connections: closet 81.xxx.xxx.xxx:14443 (write conn " " " )
connections: accepted 18.xxx.xxx.xxx:14443

excuse me, but does THIS mean, I have had an unknown guest on my system?
I don't know IP_adress 81.xxx.xxx.xxx, it's a server in netherlands.... ;-(

questions&remarks:

-encryption was set (by me) to "prefer on". just now: "always on".
is this a better choice. sorry for question.
(explanation: I must get a connection via a os2_machine. theres no possibly to get \
encryption works (nor in java_app, like in plain_os2_app "pmvnc.exe).
on this os2-machine: How can I get emncryption work WITH this (yours)java_app?

-where I can get a better logging with vnc?
to use eventvwr.exe isn't a good'n'comfortable way.

thanks
yours
klaus
