I'll try my best. Afterall, I'm new to this too. ^^;;;

Well, with a menu bar, I created an command open, which would just show
another window. It's rather primitive (coming from me), but this new
window has a entry one(where I can digit my filename) and an Ok button.
Inside this Ok button I put a command like this:

set f $entry(the alias for the entry window name)
open $f

From there I could read the file, with a gets, but I would also
appreciate any help to improve my limited code. ^^;;;

Well, I can try to send you my program in PVT. What do you think?
