If you install the gvim61.exe self-installer, it will put everything into 
the vim\vim61 directory, leaving your files in \vim\vim60 untouched.  One 
thing you may want to do, though, is create a directory \vim\vimfiles with 
the same directory structure as the \vim\vim61 directory and put any 
downloaded plugins, personal customizations, etc., into there.  This way, 
you won't have to worry about moving / losing any non-distribution stuff you 
have added.
