Does anyone know where can I get a sample or test wav file to test the
ability of the ViaVoice/SMAP "smMic on 'File'" interface?

I'm also looking for a good recommendation for a linux based WAV file
recorder that works with the ViaVoice/SMAPI software. Anyone have a
good recommendation?

I'm testing the offline.tcl sample program on my server by first
creating a WAV file, then processing it through offline.tcl. The
problem is I'm not getting very good results, and I suspect it's my
recording quality.

I'm currently using wavnorm 0.4 ( http://www.zog.net.au/ ), with the
nrecord.c compiled to output a 16 bit, mono 2250274 Hz WAV file. This
seems to be the best so far.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
