I did not say you can't do. Yes you can do but your underlying partition should be \
contigious I said. Infact I did mention on No. 4 but I did not give steps. Thanks

1. Never expand the system volumes i.e rootvol, usr, var, opt and swapvol this maps \
to physical partitions contigious space. If you do then you can't un-encapsulate or \
upgrade the OS.
2. Good thing is veritas is blocking your action.
3. If you have non-system logs (Like application logs create the soft link to another \
partions where you have more space)
4. If above solution is not possible. Then resize the partitions on backup disk ( if \
need this procedure let me know).
