  Got yet another  performance issue. Doing an export from an Oracle db
takes about 1 minute creating about a 320meg export file. So throughput is
about 6meg/sec..
  I can take that file and copy it in about 10secs or use vxbench utility
and do write ops to show about 35,000KB/sec. Using JNI cards to a Hitachi
9960.
   Does this appear to be an Oracle issue and or Veritas? QIO files are not
being used on the database mount points at this time. The export times need
to be significantly reduced for this and some much larger databases. Using
3.5 VM and VXFS - DBED.

thoughts appreciated.
