RE: [Veritas-vx] Increasing Volume SizeNabeel
If you using GUI for this then you can go to file systems - grow
option. This will increase the volume size and as well as File system on it
.
And if it is required try using sync the file system and it will show up
the new size of FS.
If u r using vxresize command then you have mkfs/newfs on extended file
system.

Growing the volume did not resize the file system on top of it. You
probably need to grow the file system now.

Subject: [Veritas-vx] Increasing Volume Size
Hi,
I have added some new disks to my A3500. I brought them into Volume
Manager,
and then increased one of the current volumes. The command came back
saying
it was completed, 'the growto 72GB succeeded' However, I am not able to
see
the increased disk space using df -k.
How long do I need to wait before I can see the full capacity using df -k?
Is there any other step which I need to perform to be able to see the full
capacity? I have already tried unmounting and remounting the filesystem.
Regards,
Nabeel
