Well, the easiest way to add disks is use
vxdiskadm to add it. It's menu driven.
But, it looks like you've already used vxdisk to add it, so
creating a simple volume (you cannot create a raid volume using
only 1 disk)
is as easy as:

vxassist make <volumename> 500m <diskname>

example  (assuming you added new disk as oracle05, this will allocate
a 500mb chunk from it)

vxassist make smallvol 500m oracle05
