Thanks for those who replied.   We sorted out the problem.  The two disks we lost had \
recently been added to Node A, and though devfsadm was run on Node B, Unix SA never \
ran "vxdctl enable" on node B.   No on Node B, list of disks through format and \
through vxdisk list were inconsistent.

Sounds to me like more of a pure vxvm issue than anything to do with VCS
at this stage.

If there's no line in 'vxdisk', but I can see it with 'format' and
perhaps do a quick 'read' analysis, then I'd try 'vxdctl enable' to see
if the disk would be returned to the VxVM managed disk list.

What version of VxVM are you running?  I'm assuming Solaris here?  What
OS?
