from a pure feature point of view,
multiple clusters and replication support with the new Global Cluster Option
in VCS (replaces GCM product) is great.
Plus Space Optimized Snapshots on VVR secondary make it worth the upgrade.

Does anyone have experience with both of the Veritas Suite versions, 3.5MP2
and the latest 4.0? My organization is comparing the two right now. We
already have 3.5MP2 in production but have no experience with either
installing, configuring, or using Version 4.0. We run vxvm, vxfs, vvr, vcs,
and gcm on 3.5 and would do the same with 4.0.
I haven't heard any industry buzz so any information pro or con would be
helpful.
