Yes. We have done this in classrooms (sometimes by students misreading
instructions). As long as you do not upgrade the disk group version on the
3.2 if you still need it to be read on 3.1.1 you should be OK.

I just wanted to know if anyone has tried a rolling upgrade(ie. upgrade
secondary, fail over, upgrade primary, fail back).  I currently have VxVM
3.1.1
and want to go to 3.2.
