Larry,
You need to set "RestartLimit" attribute to 1 or greater.
This will effect all resources of that particular type.
Also, you must have a clean script implemented.

I would recommend setting RestartLimit in types.cf.

As in:
str RestartLimit = 2

Hi,

Who can tell me how to configure a resource retry attribute ? That is to
say, when one resource is error, I want it  try to restart at the original
machine. If restart fails, I let it fail over to other node.
