Basic question: What key services do I need to start for the operating system \
(UNIX/Linux) on master BEFORE starting PBX then the rest of NetBackup?

This morning I had to do a reboot of my NetBackup 7.1 master server which runs on \
RHEL 6.

Backups kicked off and were successfully running to our Quantum DXi dedupe unit and \
to our Quantum i6000 tape library. Also Vaulting kicked off later and was \
successfully reading from our Data Domain dedupe unit. I was also able to traverse \
the NFS mount used for the storage unit from command line on the master.

However, it appeared that any backup that was using the storage unit (basic disk) \
from the master for the data domain was failing with status 213 Storage Unit not \
Available.

I reasoned it had to do with the boot and stopped NetBackup then stopped Veritas PBX \
then restarted the latter then the former. After that I was able to access the \
storage unit with no problem.

The fact it works after a manual bounce of NetBackup but not after the initial reboot \
of the entire server (which started NetBackup) leads me to believe there is a startup \
order issue. Since the storage units rely on NFS mounts and these were clearly \
accessible is evidenced by the fact Vaulting was reading them and command line could \
traverse I'm thinking this might be the issue. It appears that PBX starts before \
NFS but the rest NetBackup starts after NFS. The oddity is that the DXi also uses \
nfs for its storage unit and it was being backed up to successfully before and after \
the bounce.
