Yes you are correct I had to upgrade the Java portion of Netbackup on my Solaris \
Master/Media server to MP2 (NB_JAV_60_2_M_282405.tar) and that fixed teh issue. Now I \
can see the disk staging option when I create a DSU. This is a known issue explained \
in the following doc.
(http://support.veritas.com/docs/282405 <http://support.veritas.com/docs/282405> )

Thanks to all for there help.

Have you tried the Java GUI? It can be installed and upgraded independently of the \
Master server so may allow you to set up a DSSU properly as you can run it with a \
different maintenance pack if needs be.
The Java client patched with MP2 is able to create a DSSU in the Windows \
environment.
	Regards

So will I be correct in my conclusion that with Ver 6.0 and MP2 in a \
complete Sun Solaris environment I cannot create Disk staging Storage UNIT (DSSU) ??? \

But can just create Disk Storage UNIT (DSU)?

If this indeed is true than this really sucks!!!!! Maybe I can backout of MP2 to \
get this feature.
		Thanks

I'm guessing you mean DSSU. Anyway, i have noticed that you can no longer set the \
high and low water mark with MP2. Specifically using the Windows Gui connecting to a \
Unix master/media.
I'm pretty sure you could set it in MP1 and GA.

MP3 ;) should be out any day now.
