Split the Robot?It is a virtual partition, not physical. Create two storage
units for the robot with two drives. Have your backup policies use one STU
and the vault policy use the other.

I have the same desire, but from what I understand from a talk with
Veritas Tech Suppoort the use of partitioning the drives is only used in
Backup Exec.

Is there a way to logically split a robot? Here is the scenario:
I have a 4 Drive STK L40.
I want 2 of the drives reserved for backup/restore and I want 2 that can
be used for Duplication. How can I split these up?
