hi Chris,
All "public" methods available in Java are available in velocity ...
Just check your jdk javaDoc.
If you work with Strings in your context
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/lang/String.html
So, if you put an Int, Double, Date, etc. object in your context, all
public methods from that object will be available
if you use the #set function, public methods with String, ArrayList and
hashmap (velocity 1.5dev) will be available depending on your declaration.
