Asked a little around at the place I work and got this answer back:

There is a way to use displaytag together with velocity by using
opensymphony-webwork library.

sp/

There are some limitations on how you can use the column tags.
See

But it works fine for us.

Subject: Display tag for velocity

Hello everyone,
I've used display tag (http://displaytag.sourceforge.net/) with struts
several time. It can be a handy little tag library. Is there something
like this for velocity? Can anyone suggest some ideas about how to page
through large tables of data and be able to sort them using velocity?

Thanks,
Michael
