New line wrongly added to output when using block comments

If you use block comments, a new line is incorrectly inserted in the output, 
but if you use regular comments (##) no new line is inserted.

For example:

*#
Hello

Will produce:

Hello

Where:
##
##
Hello

Will Produce:
Hello
