Hi, Martin!

I'm writing in private, bacause afraid, that I could miss the point.

I read some proposals on the list and got, that all, acceptable by
you, ideas of package maintanance quite fine, different, but ends with
an 'integration' branch and a mess in .diff.gz.
(If I caught correctly, the last message were right about it).

I think, it is unacceptable, since debian still a package-based
distribution, and a guy, who downloads debian source package, should
get the debian changes in a usable form (something like generating
dpatch/quilt/whatever patches from branches or depends of the way).

Otherway, the whole debian should switch to git/whatever and it should
be described in policy (and it is inpossible :)

Thank you, hope you understand my point.

P.S.: For me, sure, would be better, if there was git repository for
all debian packages, I maintain my stuff the same way.
