Hi,

I'm on VBox 1.4.1 beta 2 for Mac & am trying to get Machine shared
folders working. I have done everything as specified in the manual to
set them up. The command-line utility vboxmanage is consistent with
the gui (as you'd hope it would be) in recognizing the folder(s) as
being set up witthin VBox. I have installed the guest additions & the
vbox services process is running in the VM.

The problem is in 'mounting' them as network shares in my guest OS
(Windows 2000 pro. SP4). On trying:

>net use X: \\vboxsvr\Win2k1

I get:

System error 53 has occurred.
The network path was not found.

Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong please? Has anyone got
machine shared folders working under a similar setup?

Thanks,

GAM
