 Sending a "kill -HUP" to varnishncsa makes it die with this:

 Assert error in vsl_nextlog(), vsl.c line 187:
   Condition((usleep((50*1000))) == 0) not true.
   errno = 4 (Interrupted system call)
 Aborted (core dumped)

 Varnishncsa is started with

 varnishncsa -P /var/run/varnishncsa.pid -a -w /var/log/httpd/access_log
