Yeah, I considered those abbreviations, but in the end I went with the
more verbose "big-/little-endian" because VERSION usually contains
some number and someone reading "BE/LE" instead could be easily
confused by that. (I also thought of "1.0-BE/LE", but since there is
only one version of BeFS in the wild, the "1.0-" part would be
redundant.)
