that link says that while it is possible, nobody is implementing a Qt version 
of NWF. well, somebody _is_ working their way towards that. they have OOo 
using Qt for the VCL .... now that there is a Qt event loop working with OOo, 
they will likely be moving next on to NWF... 

the developer has been making great progress, starting initially with theming 
and basic OOo/KDE normalization 
(http://kde.openoffice.org/cuckooo/index.html), now on to VCL 
(http://kde.openoffice.org/ooo-qt/index.html). next stop NWF.
