Crap, I swear I enabled hostfs in that image.

Anyway, I just put up a new image that I really really swear has
hostfs in it (I booted it and mounted a hostfs mount) -
http://user-mode-linux.sourceforge.net/linux-2.6.24-rc2.bz2
