Hi, Enrico,

For Debian Sarge, I start with installing and running
the standard Debian 3.0 images that you can find
on the UML home page.

When this runs without problems, I setup /etc/apt/sources.list
to point to a nearby mirror, but for sarge (or even sid).

Then I run apt-get update;apt-get upgrade.

What I also have done, because I have already 6
UML images running, plus 4 workstations and a
laptop, is to setup a local mirror using apt-mirror
(or you could use apt-proxy).

Regards,

Jurgen Defurne
