Ah, that's unfortunate indeed...
Is a "deep" version of immutable foreseeable?
From far (I know it always looks simple from far), it seems that you somehow already \
have the basic mechanism from which the other one can be built.
To come back to your first response, wrt the design, I would say that something \
similar to ignore would be good enough: opaque = pattern
eg.
opaque = Name *.app
With the meaning that opaque on files means do not look inside, just the \
creation/modif date (like fastcheck IIUC), and for folders, likewise, do not look \
inside.
Or do you see more challenge to the design?
