Please forgive me that I ask for things but am not in a position to
contribute them.

The main things I'd like to see are (1) that UDDI4J use the latest AXIS (I
believe the CVS drop does) and (2) that UDDI4J better handle error
conditions. I've seen NullPointerExceptions when the remote service fails
and throws a fault (instead of a UDDI formatted response) and/or has a
transport errors (connection failure.) Not that these are really UDDI4J's
problem, it is just that current behaviour is hard on the user, it is hard
to debug...

You may not see such problems on those nice big stable/robust IBM UDDI
repositories but us with test repositories could really benefit from that
within UDDI4J. Just my holiday wish list. :-)

regards,

Adam

Subject: [Uddi4j-developers] updated uddi4j in CVS

Hi..

Ive just checked in a number of updates to CVS, for uddi4j v2.

They are mainly bug fixes, and schema compliance issues, with a few build
alterations to include the date of the build into the jar.
Ive run tests with it locally, and it seems fine, I'm hoping to update the
website & ftp site later next week after creating a new release in cvs.

If anyone has changes they want to get in for the next release, now would be
a good time to discuss them on this list.

I'd still like to migrate DispositionReport to having a better reflection of
the schema element version, something thats been discussed here before, but
didnt happen.

A quick summary of changes:
 - BindingTemplate
Required fields constructors updated to ensure either HostingRedirector
or AccessPoint is present.
 - BusinessInfo
Updated to support multiple Name objects
 - DispositionReport
Updated to include missing 'truncated' attribute
 - KeysOwned
Minor fixes to avoid Null Pointer Exceptions
 - RelatedBusinessInfo
Updated to support multiple Name and Description objects
 - ServiceInfo
Updated to support multiple Name objects
 - TModelInfo
Minor fix to avoid possible Null Pointer Exception
 - 'All Publish API requests'
Minor updates to avoid possible Null Pointer Exception
 - FindService, FindBusiness, FindTModel, GetCompletionStatus, AuthToken
Minor updates to avoid possible Null Pointer Exception
 - BindingDetail, BusinessDetail, BusinessDetailExt, BusinessList,
ServiceList, TModelDetail, TModelList
Updated to avoid Null Pointer Exception handling optional truncated
attribute
