Hi all,

1.We are trying to connect a modem to the MCF5249 through a Superio Chip which \
                provides a UART connectivity,
We tried to communicate with the modem through the bootloader colilo,by sending \
AT commands to that particular UART. but we are not able to receive any response \
from the modem.

2.We connected the modem to the processor's internal UART and then ran the tip \
command and the modem got connected. We were able to dial through it also.

3.Now my doubt is to make the modem work on the SuperIO's UART,what has to be \
done?how the tip program has to be altered and how can it be checked through the \
bootloader code?

I have a very faint and fuzzy idea of how to proceed next. Can anyone please throw \
light on this ?

Thanks and Regards,
S.Vidhya
