Hello all,

I just did an update with kernel on ubuntu-server22.04.3 that doesnt work:

Kernel is not being installed. It stands and nothing happen at this point:

Unpacking linux-headers-5.15.0-79 (5.15.0-79.86) over (5.15.0-79.86) ...

dpkg --configure -a does not work

dpkg --configure -a
dpkg:dependency problems prevent configuration of linux-generic:
linux-generic depends on linux-headers-generic (= 5.15.0.79.76); however:
Version of linux-headers-generic on system is 5.15.0.78.75.

dpkg:error processing package linux-generic (--configure):
dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
linux-generic

and the suggested apt --fix-broken install

also not. I have to kill the update process.

Do I have to wait for further update or is it possible to solve?

tia

Stefan
