Hi,

I was experimenting and decided to make use of a 1GiB USB flash drive, now
that Ubuntu isos won't fit on it.

So I dug out an iso file for dban, the disc wiper. Then I ran isohybrid on
a copy of it. Then I tried to open it from Startup Disc Creator and it
refused to accept the file! No message, just plain stroppiness. Is there a
reason for this?

I know I could use dd but I don't like running it on my main system so that
means transferring things to my 32-bit netbook and using dd on that,
followed by a call to sync.

TIA,

Ian
