Hi,

consider to e.g. use Google

https://www.google.de/#q=show+date+when+ubuntu+was+first+time+installed

take a look at e.g. the first hit

http://askubuntu.com/questions/1352/how-can-i-tell-what-date-ubuntu-was-installed

then e.g. run

[weremouse@moonstudio ~]$ ls -Gg /etc/hostname
-rw-r--r-- 1 11 Jul 25  2015 /etc/hostname

This at least was the date when I installed my Ubuntu Wili server
development version, which in the meantime was release updated to
Xenial.
