Okay, still not working, but progress made:


I managed to get wlanctl-ng activated and now have wlan0 up.  The LED on
the MA111 is blinking.  ifconfig says this:

and /etc/network/interfaces says this:

and the command ifup says this:

ifup: interface wlan0 already configured

BUT, the wireless level gadget at the top of the desktop still says
"N/A" and "No Wireless Devices."

Device Manager says that a Netgear USB device is detected.

So, I'm still missing something.  Any ideas?
