Yes, it only happens with audio CDs, and  (forgot to mention before)
with gnome-cd: It plays well with grip, but I dont like grip (crashes
a lot) . Mp3 and radio streams from rhythmbox work well also.

dma in /dev/hdc was off, but after turning it on, sound is still bad,
skipping every second.
