Eojin Kim of the Korea LoCo reports on the Ubuntu Fest recently held in

Michael Larabel reminds us that the Nvidia Nouveau driver continues to
be mostly a community project, with only occasional updates from Nvidia,
and Red Hat employing a few key contributors, some of which started as
community developers. But this year has brought a new contributor to it:
Rhys Perry. His first patch was back in April, with many more following

various xf86-video-amdgpu patches to the older xf86-video-ati driver,
with most being fixes.
