Hi everyone,

I'm investigating a bug in the Swift language's REPL. Basically, some
characters (like brackets and colons) aren't displayed correctly after
the first line, and backspaces fail to clear input on the terminal.

On Ubuntu, this bug happens on version 20.04 and 20.10, but it doesn't
happen in 18.04. It also happens in other distros, like Fedora. This
leads me to believe that this either is a bug on Swift's side, which
just wasn't being manifested, or a bug on some dependency Ubuntu uses to
power the terminal.

Does anyone know if the terminal had any dependency changes between
18.04 and the other versions?

Regards,
Augusto Noronha
