The cvs server changed IP's and it may be taking a while for the new IP to 
propogate through the DNS heirarchy.

The new IP of the cvs server is 209.23.60.35 (zeus.cairodurham.org) rather 
than 209.23.60.34 (hermes.cairodurham.org).  The DNS record for 
cvs.twig.scewdriver.net has been updated a few days ago, but the change may 
not have reached you local DNS server.  Just do a:

host cvs.twig.screwdriver.net

to check to see which IP you are getting and use 209.23.60.35 (or 
zeus.cairodurham.org) until everythign propogates.

Also, earlier today, there was a loop in the route that made it impossible 
for me to get to the CVS server, but everything seems to be fine now.
